Addamus: Choral Courses

The Addamus Choral Course offers choral enthusiasts a unique opportunity to sing in some of Europe's most renowned churches, participate in sacred services, and connect with fellow music lovers while exploring Europe's rich cultural heritage. With our founding Florence course running since 2020, we were formally known as the Florence International Singing Programme (FISP). However, with the programme ever growing, our name followed suit which led to our new name, reflecting the supportive growing community and broader aspirations we now have. This year alone, we’ve expanded our reach beyond Florence, with performances at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, a highly successful orchestral event at St-Sulpice in Paris featuring singers from across Europe, and the extraordinary opportunity to perform at both St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey within the same weekend.

Our choral courses welcome singers of all abilities and ages; a passion for singing is the only prerequisite. We offer a diverse range of events throughout the UK and Europe, from one-day masterclasses and workshops with renowned musicians, to "Come and Sing" events with conductors such as Bob Chilcott, and longer courses that explore multiple cathedrals and cities. There is no audition process or required skill level, and while we have a dedicated group of returning participants, newcomers are always warmly welcomed at every course. Our aim is to provide an enriching experience where you can forge new friendships, perform in some of Europe's finest churches, and immerse yourself in the continent's rich culture and cuisine.
